Job Description:
Ready to join one of our Airbus Programs in Spain?
AIRBUS offers an internship (curricular practicum) program aimed at students who are in the last year of their degree with the main objective of acquiring professional skills through the development of a project in the company.
What do we offer?: Internship (curricular practicum) program &43; Bachelor’s Degree Final Project (TFG).
Mission: You will prepare a final year training project that will allow you to complete your official studies.
About practical training:
6 months of curricular practicum at AIRBUS from February to July 2026
Part time: 5h / day - 25 hours per week (8h-13h)
Tutor assignment for continuous monitoring
Final project (TFG) to be carried out by the student:
Aircraft noise is a relevant topic both for commercial and military aircraft. Commercial aircraft need to comply with increasingly stringent noise emission certification limits. Certain military aircraft need to be sufficiently silent to ensure that they remain undetected during some of their missions. Noise is also a very relevant topic in the booming market of commercial UAV’s and urban air mobility, as it can limit public acceptance.
In this project, you will explore various types of aircraft noise sources (propeller, engine, airframe) and their prediction using acoustic models with different levels of complexity. Such results are to be included in a tool that will allow calculating the full aircraft acoustic signature on ground for variable flight conditions considering the physics of atmospheric propagation.
You will be assigned to calculating the noise generated by an aircraft by different sources, and to compute to propagation to the ground, eventually comparing with experimental results. You will be also invited to improve the capabilities and computational performance of an existing prediction tool. We count on you!
