The GSE Support Technician ensures operational excellence through comprehensive technical expertise with safety-focused service delivery, maintaining critical equipment while supporting daily flight operations through preventative maintenance, facilities management, and fuel quality assurance.
As the GSE Support Technician / LST at Jet Access, youll be the operational backbone ensuring seamless ground support operations through comprehensive equipment maintenance and line service excellence. Working independently as the sole team member during overnight shifts, youll manage time-sensitive responsibilities while maintaining the highest standards of safety and operational readiness. Heres what your role encompasses:
Equipment Maintenance & Safety Operations
- Conduct routine preventative maintenance on all ground support equipment and facility systems, including A/C filters, to ensure optimal functionality and safety compliance
- Perform regular inspections of facility safety equipment, including fire extinguishers, exit lights, and other critical systems
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of all maintenance activities, service schedules, repairs, and equipment condition in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements
- Assist in troubleshooting and repairing equipment malfunctions to ensure minimal downtime and operational efficiency
- Monitor and report inventory of maintenance supplies, tools, and fuel-related materials
Line Service & Flight Operations Support
- Perform all applicable line service duties, including aircraft marshaling, towing, fueling, and other ground support tasks to support operational needs
- Conduct daily inspections and quality control checks on fuel storage and delivery systems to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards
- Provide regular updates on maintenance activities, equipment status, facility checks, fuel quality, and any identified needs or issues to management in a clear and timely manner
- Adhere to all safety protocols, company policies, and regulatory guidelines during maintenance, line service, and fuel quality tasks
Operational Excellence & Compliance
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance equipment performance and operational efficiency
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless coordination between maintenance and line service operations
- Maintain professional standards while working in outdoor environments and varying weather conditions
- Complete special projects and initiatives as needed, embracing opportunities to contribute to Jet Accesss continued growth and success

Core Schedule
- Monday - Friday: 9:30 p.m. - 5:30 a.m.
- Overtime or weekend work may be required to meet operational needs.
Required Skills & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certification in mechanical, electrical, or related fields preference
- 1-2 years of experience in equipment maintenance, preferably with ground support equipment or similar machinery
- Basic knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and HVAC systems
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail in record-keeping
- Ability to follow safety protocols and regulatory guidelines consistently
- Effective communication skills for reporting and collaboration with team members
- Strong self-motivation and ability to work independently without direct supervision for extended periods
- Excellent time management skills with ability to prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities autonomously
- Comfort working alone during overnight shifts while maintaining focus and productivity
- Proven ability to make sound decisions independently while following established safety protocols
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and work in confined spaces or at heights
- Valid drivers license required
- Must pass background checks and pre-employment screening
