We are seeking experienced Aircraft Inspectors for long-term contract opportunities in Houston, TX. This role is responsible for performing detailed inspections and ensuring all maintenance activities comply with FAA regulations, manufacturer specifications, and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Conduct incoming, in-process, and final inspections on corporate aircraft.
- Verify maintenance work is completed in accordance with FAA regulations and manufacturer guidelines.
- Review and approve maintenance records, logbook entries, and documentation.
- Identify discrepancies and coordinate corrective actions with maintenance teams.
- Ensure compliance with quality assurance and safety standards.
- Support audits and regulatory inspections as needed.
Requirements
- FAA A&P License required.
- FAA Inspection Authorization (IA)
- Minimum 5 years of aviation maintenance and inspection experience.
- Strong corporate/business aircraft experience required.
- Preferred aircraft experience includes:
- Cessna Citation
- Learjet
- Embraer Phenom, Legacy, Praetor
- Bombardier Challenger and Global
- Gulfstream G-Series
- Dassault Falcon
- Hawker Beechcraft / Beechjet
- Pilatus PC-24
- Thorough knowledge of FAA regulations, maintenance procedures, and inspection standards.
- Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
- Must have own tools.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
