The AMRAAM Country Manager (CM) will report directly to the AMRAAM International Director and will act as the principal point of contact to the international community to include the US Government AMRAAM International Program Office, and government and military entities of assigned countries; providing both the voice of the customer to the company and advocacy in support of the company business and financial objectives to the customer. Also responsible for generating new business for post-production support and ancillary services. The AMRAAM CM is the principal Engineering/Logistics Support interface for technical issues related to the International AMRAAM community and the principal Global Trade Compliance interface for licensing and Export Control Reform compliance. The AMRAAM CM will coordinate, facilitate, and assist the International Program Director in the conduct of activities performed by Product Line functional organizations in direct support of country requests received through International Program Office or the International Customer, including support of Program Management Reviews (PMR) and annual Working Group/User Review events, functioning as the liaison to answer technical, sustainment and business-related questions from the International Customer(s).
This position must comprehend and resolve complex customer issues and concerns that require ingenuity, innovation and engineering and logistics support skills. The AMRAAM CM must independently manage demanding deadlines, balance priorities, and successfully manage cultural sensitivities of USG and International Customers while ensuring adherence to all International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Foreign Release requirements.
This role is On-site and located in Tucson, Arizona. Relocation is not available.
Responsibilities to Anticipate:
Supports and advises the other Country Managers in communications, logistics, licensing and exports and imports.
Provide support to Business Development, Supply Chain, Production, Engineering, Contracts, Logistics, Finance and Program Management with specific strategy efforts, participation in development of major proposals and execution of capture plans and contract negotiations for Direct Commercial Sales (DCS).
Work across the program structure to influence priorities and lead cross functional teams to resolve time critical issues.
Primary point of contact on the team for coordinating licensing and Jurisdiction/Classification Assessments with Engineering and Global Trade Compliance.
Responsible for AMRAAM International FMS/DCS Sustainment activities and coordinates and assists the Depot/Sustainment and Logistics Manager with repair priorities / activity and provides repair status / estimated completion dates to the customer as required.
Qualifications We Require:
Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and minimum 10 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience.
Requires frequent international and domestic travel.
Experience in Program/Project Management, Engineering, Logistics Support and/or other related positions within the Domestic and/or international business area.
Experience with USG and/or International contracts.
Experience interfacing with US and International government and/or Industry officials.
Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer:
Experience with ITAR licensing requirements.
Basic working knowledge of the USG foreign release process, production contracting function, applicable contract obligations and ITAR licensing requirements.
Working knowledge of missile systems, specifically AMRAAM programs.
Strong interpersonal skills with special focus on building and strengthening customer relationships.
Experience with Raytheon IPDS gate processes.
Program Management Certified.
EVMS Certified.

The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
