Job Description:

Airbus Helicopters is looking for a Defense Security and Compliance Manager (f/m) to join our Corporate Secretary Department based in Marignane, France.

As the Defense Security and Compliance Manager, you will be at the forefront of ensuring the secure management of sensitive equipment, classified information, and personnel within our critical defense activities. 

This role is essential for maintaining strict regulatory compliance, developing robust security protocols, and serving as a primary liaison for both national and international defense security programs.

Defense Equipment & Information Security:

• Manage the transfers and ensure ISC-compliant inventory of ACSSI and CRYPTO equipment, crucial for defense operations.

• Oversee national and international sensitive transports, directly supporting defense logistics.

• Conduct annual inventory tracking and specialized storage visits for defense assets.

• Manage changes to lock combinations and coordinate vault replacements for secure defense facilities.

Defense Authorization & Compliance:

• Handle security clearances for personnel involved in defense programs, addressing any concerns or &34;red flags.&34;

• Manage and oversee &34;DIFFUSION RESTREINTE&34; authorizations for sensitive defense information.

• Oversee and manage restricted authorizations for critical defense programs under OCCAR, EU, and NATO frameworks.

• Serve as the primary national and international military program security liaison/correspondent.

• Ensure rigorous regulatory maintenance of defense-related documentation and procedures, including MyCES procedures.

• Monitor evolving defense security regulations, providing timely internal updates to staff.

• Act as the primary contact for internal control plan audits specific to defense activities.

Defense Security Training & Awareness:

• Manage specialized Crypto training programs for defense personnel.

• Develop and conduct comprehensive National Security Sensitization Programs and Awareness Briefings tailored to the defense context.

• Operational Excellence in Defense Security:

• Develop and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) specifically for defense security activities.

• Conduct Gemba walks in defense security zones to ensure compliance and identify improvements.

Defense Security & Regulatory Mastery

• Demonstrated comprehensive and in-depth knowledge of the site&39;s military activities and defense operations.

• Expert understanding of relevant national security regulations (e.g., IGI 1300, IGI 6600) and critical international defense frameworks (NATO, OCCAR, European directives/standards).

• Superior understanding of defense-specific security standards and protocols.

Leadership & Interpersonal:

• Proven track record of successfully leading and motivating teams, developing strategic initiatives, and rigorously monitoring project execution and action plans within a defense or highly regulated environment.

• Excellent interpersonal skills, fostering effective collaboration with military and civilian stakeholders.

Language Proficiency:

• Fluency in both written and spoken French is essential.

• Fluency in both written and spoken English is essential.

• French nationality is mandatory.
