What you’ll need to bring with you:
Your Education and Experience:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited U.S. law school
- Membership in good standing with a state bar association
- 5+ years of legal practice experience, preferably in corporate/commercial/contracting
- Proficiency in drafting and reviewing legal documents
- Experience with private equity-backed portfolio companies will be an advantage
- Experience with a production/job shop manufacturing environment with multiple operating units is preferred
- Experience in risk management and mitigation
Your Initiative:
Strong time management skills and delivers on commitments; ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Strong Microsoft Office Suite experience, specifically Outlook, Word and PowerPoint
Intellectually curious; strong desire to understand the Company’s operations and industry
Able to operate in a dynamic environment with an ability to lead with clarity and vision for the future
Service minded approach to work; interested in collaborating closely with various leaders to drive initiatives
Strong communication skills with the ability to interact verbally and electronically with West Star team members, the Board of Directors, third party advisors, and others to clearly articulate issues, questions, and resolutions
This position generally ranges from $225,000 to $240,000 salary. Actual salary will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. Additional compensation in the form of a shift differential provided if the employee is assigned to an alternate shift. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Other forms of compensation include a semiannual discretionary bonus based on performance, as well as health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid vacation.
