In this role, your work directly contributes to the systems that keep aircraft operating safely and efficiently—making your attention to detail and craftsmanship essential to every build.
Position DetailsJob Type: Full-Time Contract (6 months, with potential for hire)
Location: Bohemia, NY
Schedule: Monday – Friday 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (1st Shift)
Pay Rate: Up to $21.75/hour
What You’ll DoAs an Assembler, you’ll be a key part of the production line building components for Boeing 737 aircraft. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Performing mechanical assembly of raw materials following standardized work instructions
Using hand tools such as torque wrenches and other precision equipment
Conducting quality control (QC) inspections to ensure products meet specifications
Reading and following method sheets and instructions to maintain production accuracy
Working within a takt-time production environment to meet output goals
Maintaining a clean and safe work area while adhering to safety and dress code requirements
Standing for the entire duration of the shift and working efficiently in a fast-paced setting
What You BringRequired QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED
1–3 years of assembly experience, including use of small hand tools
Ability to stand for a full 8-hour shift
Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions and procedures accurately
Ability to read and communicate in English
Willingness to work overtime as needed
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
Preferred QualificationsExperience reading blueprints, drawings, or schematics
Previous experience in aerospace or manufacturing environments
Ability to work in high-output production lines with efficiency and accuracy
